Quick interview questions

Hello, wanted to brush up my interview skills so need some help with the following questions

1) Why do you use EV as a multiple?

2) Out of DCF, Precedent, and Comps, which one is the best to use? And why is it the best?

3) For the multiples you mentioned like EV/Revenue, or EV/EBIT or EBITDA, P/E, when do use each one?

Thanks
