Quick Question - Absolute vs. Relative
Hey Folks,
I have a quick accounting question - what's the difference between absolute and relative?
For instance:
Which company had a higher net income on an absolute basis? What about on a relative basis?
Or
Which company paid more dividends on an absolute basis? What about on a relative basis?
Thanks so much as always!
Absolute is cash terms relative is in %
so net income on a relative basis would be a % of sales?
what about dividends?
thank u!
