I recently accepted a lateral position at a sweatshop and would love a break (from my current sweatshop lol) before I start. My start date is 2 weeks from Monday and I really want to quit tomorrow. However, my background check hasn't cleared and will probably take a week to clear. Would it be ok if I quit tomorrow? Or do I really need to wait? I have no misdemeanors or anything else that would pop up.
