Is someone suggesting that relationships matter in politics and business? I'm shocked, just shocked.
No, he is not suggesting that; that is common knowledge. What he is doing is pointing out corruption.
What in that video had anything to do with corruption? If Glen Beck thinks any of that is actual corruption, he needs to buy a dictionary.
I would just like everyone to note this comment. Even if you do not agree with GB, you believe he is making something out of nothing, it is all B.S., etc...you should still be able to catch the video's main point which is that the US govt is corrupt.
I understand that is the purported point of the video, and the word corruption is used, but there is nothing in the content that even approaches corruption. Corruption is taking a bribe or having an opponent arrested; it is not what Glen Beck described. He simply used the word because his audience has difficulty expressing nuanced concepts, and corruption is more exciting than what he was actually discussing.
Glen beck is jokes, always entertaining.
I don't get why its corruption, its not like Whiteacre, was not qualified to run GM, he has experience running other large organizations. Nor is it like a former presidential adviser is not qualified to be an MD of a wall street firm.
