solb22What does this mean for Morgan Keegan? I am interviewing there

Apparently there won't be a ton of changes (according to the Ray Jay CEO on CNBC). All of the management is going to be retained. Hard to predict these things though.

Neither-NYC, they acquired a tech firm which I was interested in. Maybe I should add it was an informational interview. Just curious

My guess is things will move along as usual. If a piece of the firm was running well before, it's not likely they are going to just get rid of it now. I was talking with some guys in my office who know some of the senior level people in both Memphis and Atlanta. They mentioned there is some overlap now in some IB groups so that could be an issue, but again, if they functioned and were profitably before the acquisition, then it seems unlikely they would immediately get rid of people but would potentially consolidate the office locations and try to streamline the support roles. All and all, I don't think anyone has answers for you at this point.

Regards
