I would probably do the corporate planning & analysis. It sounds like it's just standard FP&A, which is great as a sophomore at an F500. From the Googling I did, global commercial services just sounds like corporate cards work, but idk for sure. Global treasure could be a solid option too, but I think the CP&A/FP&A is the best option of these.

Second the CP&A/FP&A but would also recommend Investor Relations as your backup. You'll get a higher level view of the financial optics of the company and learn how to craft a story to investors (as well as ppt experience). I had a experience like this for a smaller company my sophomore year and the IR team actually helps Equity Researchers to build their company models so I'm sure you could get some practice in a spreadsheet if you are outspoken about it.

Thank you! There are tons of networking opportunities nonetheless. RBC Capital Markets is right in our building so I might have to pop by one day. Thank you for your advice.

Thank you! I’ll be hoping for that… the hiring manager noted that placement will be based on my resume which is loaded with investment experience (Student Managed Investment Fund, internship with Financial Advisor, experience with Bloomberg Terminal/Morningstar, etc.).

I guess there might also be a chance to be placed in IR.
