Reaching out for FT now at places where I did the SA/FT process last year

Haven't really seen a question like this on WSO.

I networked into the SA process for a few places last year (including this 1 place that actually wanted me to interview for FT since they had finished their summer process). I was pretty late to the recruitment process so I performed at various levels of success...my own fault, but some of them went poorly.

Are all these places essentially off-limits now? Obviously, if I interviewed poorly, I wouldn't reach out again...but if I feel like it went okay, and I can somewhat reason for being a stronger candidate this time around, how would reaching out again (for FT) be perceived?
