recent interview

Here's the situation:

Recently had an interview with a boutique, the group is about 5+ people, 3 of which I met in the 1st round. Thought it went pretty smooth and one of the VPs went as far as to say "I was significantly more qualified than my peers" (internships...and the position is entry-level) Further, as I got to the elevators to leave, one of the group members met me and told me i should be expecting a call the next week...

it's been 2 weeks now, and have not heard from anyone. Thoughts on how / or if I should reiterate my interest and to inquire about the next round? I'm assuming workload picked up and since they're so small, they've put the process on hold. anyways, any thoughts or speculation??

I don't think you would do any harm to follow up. If it's been a couple of weeks, a simple, "Thanks for the opportunity - I am still very interested in the position" type of e-mail would be fine. You can ask how the interview process is going and if they need any additional information from you.

You can direct this to whomever you had the most rapport and/or whomever you think is most likely to get back with you.

Anyone else have any insight?
