Recruit FT or lateral later on
I've seen a few threads on this, but not many related to associates. In your opinion(s) is there downside in recruiting FT during your summer associate stint or should you do your year and then look? I have a feeling FT recruiting will be pretty good this year because it seems like associate class sizes will be down this summer and people will also have more mobility once the COVID situation chills out.
I know that this is in advance, but it has been on my mind so I would appreciate some insight. It would be great to hear from those who have done this.
Bump to stay on first page
Also interested--when does associate lateralling make sense?
Yeah it would be great to get some perspective. Most answers here are geared toward analysts obviously. Do you have any reasons for wanting to jump?
