Regional Middle Market Banks, MM, Hours, breaking in, changes in banking

How do the hours of small boutiques, middle market, regional middle market, bb all stack up? I would assume that it’s primarily Bank to bank.

I’ve heard that banking is becoming more and more employee friendly, is this true?

What are the easiest firms to break into and how would I go about finding them?
