rejected for sophomore summer analyst @GS - can I still get a junior year or FT offer or is it closed forever?
I recently got rejected from a sophomore position at Goldman. I currently go to a target school that is one of the most represented at the firm and I'm kinda bummed out. I didn't even get a hirevue.
My major question is though - can I still get a junior year offer or a FT if I got rejected time as a sophomore. I don't want to come off like I deserve a spot I realize that I will need to put in much work, but working at GS is something I want to do at somepoint. Any advice and experience would be really helpful!
Goldman is a place that you want to work at someday? That's odd.

Yes. Sophomore programs are mostly for diversity or connections... you will absolutely still be considered next year
Oh boy, I love the college obsession with GS.
