Relationship with VP - risky?

Wondering if anyone has sustained relationships with people within their group? I am dating a guy in my group who is a VP (same vertical also). We have known each other for a while. We are keeping it hush but will senior people be upset about this or look down on this about this?

Woo woo gonna have problems when it’ll be over/ if hr finds out.

Bankers have a tendency to be over obsessive about everything so it could not be a good thing in the long term. Also HR tends to protect their more senior members and yeet “liabilities”
