Relocation to NY: TV / Internet question
Hi guys,
I am currently relocating to NY from Europe and I have a question which is not related to banking but it is still relevant.
I need to decide what kind of boundle / offer / TV package get for my New House. I will be working in M&A as an associate so I won't have much time. Nevertheless I would like to have something which allows me to watch TV series or a movie when I get back at decent time and some European soccer, or at least highlights, over the weekend.
A friend suggested me to get the Apple TV + Hulu + Netflix (149$ + 12$ pm + 10$ pm) + internet connection. Other alternatives are Verizon and RCN boundle (TV + Internet) with RCN cheaper (c.50$ vs c.70$ pm + 6$ pm for BeIN Sports to have European soccer). The fact is that I have no clue on what Verizon and RCN offer in terms of contents and if they have any relevant difference. On the other hand, I am a Netflix user in Europe and quite happy with the service.
End goal is not to waste money (rent will already kill me) but have everything confortable on the screen when I have time.
Any view or advice?
Many thanks!
Look up jailbroken Apple tvs and other streaming devices on eBay. I'm sure someone else on here may have a better suggestion but those are fairly reliable to get a good amount of content.
