Reneging Risk
If your current firm finds out through the grapevine that you reneged another firm's offer to join theirs, could you get fired? Not talking about your offer being rescinded (which has happened to folks). Talking about the risk after you start working in that role somehow your colleagues find out and you get outted.
Is this any different from them finding out you lied about your return offer status? Or would the group not care once you are working and high performing?
