Rescheduling Interviews?
I have a final round at my top firm tomorrow. However I am running a 100plus fever and heading to ER this evening. If i request to reschedule later this week will this hurt my chances?

Rescheduling an interview due to a legitimate health issue, like a high fever and a visit to the ER, is generally understandable and should not hurt your chances if handled professionally. Based on the most helpful WSO content, here’s how you can approach this:
Communicate Promptly and Professionally: Reach out to the HR contact or recruiter as soon as possible. Explain your situation briefly and professionally, emphasizing that you are unwell and seeking medical attention. Avoid going into excessive detail.
Express Your Enthusiasm: Make it clear that this firm is your top choice and that you are eager to participate in the final round. This reassures them of your commitment.
Propose a Solution: Politely request to reschedule the interview later in the week or at their earliest convenience. Be flexible with your availability to accommodate their schedule.
Follow Up: After recovering, send a follow-up email thanking them for their understanding and confirming the new interview date.
Recruiters and interviewers are human too, and they generally appreciate honesty and professionalism. As long as you handle the situation with care, it’s unlikely to hurt your chances.
