Rescheduling with an MD?
I cold emailed a few boutique IB's in my area in an attempt to get an internship for this summer (I'm a sophomore), and one MD said he wanted to talk, but the first time I called him he didn't answer. He had a last minute meeting, which is understandable, so we rescheduled, and again he didn't answer. He's the one proposing the times by the way. How should I go about this without coming off as annoying or needy?
I had something similar happen to me. Just go with the flow. I know it can be frustrating, but you will eventually get to talk to him. You don't want to come off the wrong way.
Good luck!
It's in your area - the easiest way would be to actually go in and speak with the guy. He isn't gonna blow you off when you are waiting in tte lobby. It would make a better impression, too.
Hmm, I might take this approach. It's a long drive to have a 15 minute coffee chat, but I think it could help out more in the long run.
Definitely always better to meet face to face if he's willing to.
