Even during my IB days this wasn't a thing. Long hours, yes. But nobody would call me on a Sunday morning, they will wait until Sunday afternoon.
Guessing you worked at a shit bank then with 0 deals. I usually wake up to a message about work for the day (On Sunday) or at best a 10am teams message.
