The majority of the analyst classes at the top 3-4 rx groups have a GPA above 3.9. There are a couple people each year with 3.7s or 3.8s in each group, but there is definitely still a filter there.

 

Not really. The standard is going to be the same for everyone, and this is because of how competitive rx actually are. 3.82 might/probably will be enough for some of those tier b rx firms, but especially for pjt\evr it will be difficult.

 

Disagree, there's definitely a lower bar for diversity candidates. Also, a GPA of 3.8+ is not a barrier to getting interviews if you're at a top target, just have to network.

 

Also disagree. There are a couple non-diverse kids with GPAs ~3.8 in the RSSG 2025 SA class, albeit they go to target schools. That GPA should be just fine. With that said, there is a correlation between GPA and kids who interview the best.
