I'm at a semi-target/target school and online resume drops start this week and end late January. Does it make a difference at what point I drop my resume? Any chance of hearing earlier if I apply now or do they just wait until after the deadline to view all the resumes? Thanks.

All resumes are reviewed at the same time and people are notified of interviews at the same time. At least that's how we do it where I am.
Typically analysts from your school will review all resumes and select people for first round interviews.
Thanks. Will a very high GPA, with decent we and ec's ensure an interview at all BB's? Are there certain BB's where you must know someone to 'pull' your resume in order to get an interview?
there is no such thing as a guarantee. Obviously, it helps, but if there's nothing that interesting about your resume, ppl reviewing it might pass on it. Then again, you could have a lower gpa, okay extras, etc. but if one of your friends is on the recruiting team at the particular BB and can vouch/make a case for you, you'll be fine.
Sorry, I was not clear with the purpose of my questions. I wasn't looking for a validation of my resume, rather, wondering whether I need to focus on expanding my network specifically at certain BB's which rely on people to pull resumes for interviews rather than scanning through each one.
Resume drops started really early here. I already found out on some of the firms I applied to.
Like the above poster said, it's subjective to the people reviewing the resume. I got MS but not Imperial Capital.
