Rising college Junior looking for advice

Hello,

As you guys can see, I'm fairly new to WSO, but wanted to get some advice.
As of my background, I'm a international student. lived in US since I was 9, but was unable to obtain green
card and puts me at a far disadvantage when landing a job. goes to a Emory University and studies at the
Goizueta business school. It's a 2 year degree, which I had to apply spending time In Emory until Sophmore year.
As I spent 2 years off from school to finish military service at home, I'm having frustration with future and further school work as I return to school this August.

I know my school is not great job recruiting, and no prestige as ivys, and labeled as some what semi-target.
I wanted to break into IB after great consideration and wanted to hear what others have to say to my situation. I don't have any internship experience, but have a okay gpa (3.7+). My junior year and senior year in the business school will be fairly more competitive and allow me to if IB is what I want to pursue in future. Meanwhile, any inputs for what I can do during school year and straight forward advises (even criticisms) will be greatly appreciated.

I moved around the states; spent childhood in California and went to high school in Michigan. Yes, Emory is somewhat respected in the south, but my chances as a international student who needs a h-1b Visa seems fairly difficult when as see friends that are alike. What can I do while I'm at school to put me at a advantage in terms of recruiting?
