Roast my (hopefully great) resume!
This is my resume for SA 2026 IB internships. For context, since alots redacted, my wealth managemnt internship was at a top BB, I go to a target and transferred from a dif top school.
1. Is it formatted well/ grammar great etc?
2. How good (or not good) is my resume content?
3. What are your thoughts/ suggestions if any?
4. Does the resume have enough numbers/ quantitative data?

I’d anonymize this more. Wasn’t hard to find you on LI
I just did, thanks for the advice. Any thoughts on my resume? Thanks
Still not anonymized that hard. Would suggest getting better profile picture on LinkedIn (higher resolution and more polished appearance (shave / haircut).
I think you bury the lede a bit on your personally managed portfolio. It could be worded a bit clearer.
Sub-bullet on the 350K views is not written in resume style.
I would strike "aforementioned"
Maybe mention what benchmark you use so people know?
"this governmental committee of..." seems a bit off, maybe "a committee which oversees blah blah blah"
Thanks for the feedback— I will incorporate it.
I also did some more redactions. I hope this is enough as I feel if more there won’t be much left to review.
A few quick questions:
I’m not sure where you think my personal portfolio management is unclear and buries the lead. Can you elaborate?
What do you mean that the subullet isn’t written in resume style? Should I instead write “Has 350,000 views since (x release date) across all modes of communication?
Otherwise, what are your general thoughts regarding the resume quality for top IB?
Thanks so much! I really appreciate it.
1. It's mostly the "trading system developer designation," and the personal account is buried in the second bullet
2. You can parenthetically say (350,000+ views) rather than have a whole sub-bullet. Your stuff is backtracky and loops around on itself rather than economizing words. Try to simplify things where you can.
3. Resume is fine. You should try to get front-office experience as soon as possible. You do a pretty good job of talking about your experiences. I would encourage you to dig a bit deeper on the wealth management and congress bullets. They feel a bit superficial. Yes you helped craft portfolios and draft reports for the congressperson, but what was the deeper meaning? Even something as simple as what asset classes you looked at or what sector of policy you were analyzing (education, healthcare, immigration, asteroid mineral rights) would go a long way. Don't just give people the cursory details. Tantalize them with conversation starters.
