Robert W. Baird in London

Hi people, does anyone have any insight in Baird investment banking in London? I know that it's a top MM firm in US but how does it stand in London in terms of deal flow / prestige / exit opps to BBs, elite boutiques or PE? Any info on compensation/bonuses? Many thanks!

I guess we won't anymore after two weeks. Just makes me wonder a bit. I applied at banks, which I consider better and where I got a telephone interview at least.

We had an intern this summer who previously interned at Baird in London and he was continually commenting on how it was 'easier' there, so I'm guessing from his experience maybe weekends and very late nights weren't what he was expecting. Could be just his experience, but not heard any stories of it being a sweat shop, but that's all I can offer you sadly.

Having said that, surely any internship in M&A is worthwhile if somebody has no experience from before, regardless where it is from if you have nothing else? I'd say go for it, then decide which offer depending on what you end up with.
