I do it, we have matching bed sheets, bunk beds and pajamas. Our mothers bring us milk and cookies and read us bedtime stories every night. U jelly?

I lived with a fellow analyst for the second year of my banking stint, and it worked out really well. We'd become good friends in the office and both needed a new place to stay, so we got a place nearby work and moved in. It actually worked out really well since we got along personally also, and it was convenient because we understood each other's schedules, and could do things for each other like grab something from the other's desk if one of us was in the office and the other was home.

It is totally critical though that you get along personally. I'd be a little nervous about moving in with a guy sight unseen - if you guys don't get along, you're literally stuck with him 24/7 for 2 years with no escape.

Well you get your own room, you could just hide out there.

i'm making it a point not to room with anybody going to the same bank as me.

You give me a gift? *BAM* Thank you note! You invite me somewhere? *POW* RSVP! You do me a favor? *WHAM* Favor returned! Do not test my politeness.
