Tell you the truth, Rothschild are very prompt at extending offers after the assessment day. I got my offer literally 30 minutes after my final round got over but this was back in November for FT. Anyway best of luck! You're probably on a waitlist.
Thanks very much for your response - the HR rep there did say that on this occassion we were likely to hear at some point this week rather than on the day. Have been on some of the other UK forums like thestudentroom and wikijob, but nobody seems to have heard yet. How long do you think is acceptable to wait before calling up and asking? Would like to get some closure on this asap!
I wouldn't give too much weight to what some others on forums are saying. I suspect, just like you, that you are merely speaking to the same people in multiple places with numerous usernames.

Do you guys know if they usually start interviewing for Off Cycle internship after the application deadline?
From what I gather no one has heard back yet, but there are rumours floating about that they have had to interview additional candidates this week, which leads one to conclude that things aren't looking up for those that interviewed earlier.
Generally, re cruel3a, I believe Rothschild only ever starts interviewing after the close of the application deadline, which has now passed.
Yes, I know that it is passed.but I will apply next year for the spring (deadline around mid January) but I won't be able to go to interviews, if they call me, till mid December because I'll be busy with another internship. Thanks for the info btw.
