Rules of Hybrid Environment
Hey Everyone,
Starting in IB FT soon. I plan on going into the office on my first day. However based on my internship experiences (diff firm) the first day is very chill and I only have meetings til 5pm. If this was a regular in office experience I would probably stay with all the analysts until whenever. Also if I received work I would stay in the office to finish it.
However given its a hybrid environment and under the presumption that I do not have any other work on my first day besides compliance/onboarding, would it be a bad look to leave the office at 7pm and log in from home and be ready to work then? My family is in town and leaving the next day so I would like to go to their hotel and login from there while spending time with them but work does come first so I want to make sure I step on the right foot.
Is your bank doing hybrid permanently or just for now?
just for now. will be mandatory minimum days in the office in a few months
