RX Slow right now?
Interning in an RX group, and it’s a lot slower than I thought it would be. Is it slow for anyone else too?
I had assumed it would pick up given the current environment, but that doesn’t seem to have happened.
Glacial, nothing has really "broken" yet. Headlines are bad, but there are no covenants on loans and companies that have some liquidity from the past year.
Try to ask a lot of questions and get on any active project you can, folks aren't projecting it to get busy until 4Q this year (unless that's changed).
What do you mean no covenants on loans? We’re loans just being given the past few years with very few having covenants?
Yes. Covenant lite loans are/have been issued left and right. Ultra flexible financing for the borrower.
Echoing the above, would expect a pick up in the coming quarters as effects start to set in
Very very slow right now. Monitoring a ton of situations that could start going south soon. Consensus seems to be that activity will start picking up in late Q3 / Q4 and into next year.
Don't worry about the level of activity. The current outlook is very good from an intern conversion standpoint. Just get on some projects and do really well to show your value and you should be good.
