With recruiting season approaching I have begun cold emailing bankers trying to set up meetings in person and/or phone conversations. I happened to get a response from a MD in a respected department at a BB. I'll do the usual look up this guy's info online and find as much as I can about him, but what questions can I ask him to truly stand out (save the sarcastic comments unless they are absolutely hilarious).
also, if you have a good story about how you met and befriended a BSD please feel free to share
"How many summer analysts have you banged?"
A good follow-up would be:
"Are they hot? Did they receive a return offer?"
