SA BB New York Orientation/Training?

What do you think will become of BBs' traditional week long SA training in New York at the start of the program? Has anybody with signed offer letters seen anything about training in NY?

Anybody heard anything about a weekend of orientation in April?

I am referring in particular to regional offices of the more 'troubled' banks like UBS, Merrill (BoA), Citi (a little more than troubled, but interested nonetheless), MS etc.

my offer letter didn't actually directly mention any orientation or training, but it was mentioned by the recruiter in their phone call to me post-interview. the letter only included a few forms and the offer letter to be signed. they haven't got back to me as of now
