SA Midpont - Reality vs Expectations
Curious to know how other summer intern's are feeling about their summer living up to expectations as most are about halfway through the summer internship. I'm at a BB and the beginning was exciting; training was useful, we were all highly encouraged to speak up, participate, offer feedback, network, learn about the firm, etc etc.
I'm not sure any of that has actually transpired due to VP and manager having a totally different attitude and expectation for us interns on our teams. Seems like the the company rhetoric was only at the company level. Or I was just naive enough to believe it.
Wondering what other intern's experiences have been with their reality meeting their expectations?
