SA recruiting in Asia
genuinely curious about IB in Asia. I wanted to to know what was happening with SA recruitment in Asia. how many of you have applied and how many have got full time offers? I wanted to know the ratio of how many banks you applied to vs offers you got. Also be cool if you could disclose the offices where you got the offers.
IB in Asia is mostly done out of HK & SG, so recruiting & return offers varies with their respective offices
The scene is very different when you're looking at other parts of Asia (Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, etc), some BBs have little to no presence in these parts, maybe small offices as most deals are done through sg/hkg/ch
when does SA and WA recruiting start in Asia?
SA depends on where your school is, earlier for US/UK schools (some finalize recruitment in Sep/Oct), later for APAC schools (Nov/Dec). WA is only for Australian students at least at BB’s.

While the Winter Analyst program on MS web is only for Aussie students, I believe there are specific programs with several target schools not listed on their website or SG students can still apply for the WA program in Singapore.
