SA w/o related work-ex/coursework - chances?

I'm going to be a junior at a semi-target/regional target this fall and will be applying for SA positions.

However I'm an engineering major with virtually no finance experience so far. Add to that I'm an international and it's a pretty big disadvantage.

I've been networking pretty heavily and have a couple contacts at each office that I'm looking at (the usual suspects and a couple of boutiques/MM's) Also I've taken econ/finance courses and signed up for a modelling course to make my resume more finance oriented. I've also included a reading list as someone here suggested.

I wanted to intern at a boutique in the fall but if I do, I'd graduate in the fall of 2013. That said, I'm trying to close up a position for January but idk if that would be of much help since interviews would already have started.

How do you guys rate my chance of at least getting a first round? Anything that jumps out? And what else can I do to improve my chances?

Appreciate any replies. Thanks!

p.s. I know the the date format is inconsistent in the resume - working on that.
