SaaS Valuation Metrics
I'm currently working this summer in corporate venture capital and was tasked with looking into SaaS companies for potential acquisition or investment. While I have background in the field from a previous consulting internship for a SaaS-focused PE shop, I am running into trouble finding metrics to assess opportunities for SaaS firms.
Specifically, I am interested if it is possible to find LTV or CAC for SaaS companies or if there is some way of going about making assumptions to model LTV and CAC. Any other advice surrounding useful ways to value SaaS opportunities/firms would be greatly appreciated.
