Salary raise? $$ Moelis/EVR

Some BB's are 110k (and assuming every BB will match eventually unless Bofa Citi and the rest are really just that broke and can't match GS/MS). Does this mean EB's will eventually be at 120k given they always had higher salaries?Currently at EVR/PJT/CVP

Don't foresee it happening. Banks are only going to raise their bases to a level until it is marginally insignificant. BBs that already put 100k most likely will not go and then re-up to 110k simply because one or two BBs are doing it. They know at that point the 10k (prob 7k post tax) difference will not be enough to make analysts leave for a competitor bank. Most likely with EBs not raising to 120k after establishing 110k base.
