San Francisco FT applications deadlines

I am currently doing my SA analyst at a great firm in the Midwest. However, I was staffed on a tech deal and had a moment of epiphany, realizing that I would be a much better fit in SF, since I am more of a geeky guy that likes computer, technology, and other nerdy things, much more than I like sports (judge me all you want).

Unfortunately, my university has almost no one that works in that area. Also, because I was never considering applying there, I never really networked with people in that area.

Do you guys think there is still chance for me to land a FT gig at a BB or EB there? I did not apply online yet, because I am at work all day long and don't want to get caught applying for other gigs while in my SA gig.

Any insights, such as application deadlines that are still open or words of advice would greatly appreciated.
