Santander vs Stephens?
Not sure this is even close but just wanted to know the general consensus on which is considered better

Santander has zero presence in the US. Stephens is better.
???? I’ve never even heard of Stephens, I would take Santander.
Santander is a growing franchise esp after taking CS people
Santander is dumping money on their IB franchise like crazy all around the world to develop it - but whether (as a retail centric bank) it would be a success is still unknown. At least you could get contacts by working with experienced practitioners with them which you could lever in the future
I would say Santander
If US, Stephens, but otherwise definitely Santander. Would also say this probably differentiates by group heavily, so make sure to look up what transactions each bank is on before choosing.
