you'll get dinged if they ask cause there are a lot of people who are just as competent/great CV who probably cracked 1100 in 7th grade.

 

Depends. At UT, all the consulting firms and a growing number of banks are requiring you submit SAT scores prior to the interview screening process. I know some places have specific cut-offs. For example, HBK Investments required a math score of 750. A buddy of mine had a 740 and didn't get an interview.
