Currently an A1 at a MM M&A shop working until 3am all week and ~10-12 hours on saturdays and sundays. Is this normal? I’d be fine with working late during the week and working all day on Sundays but the Friday night / Saturday night work is killing me. Curious if anyone else is having the same experience

Not normal. A lot of banks have protected Saturdays (to various degrees) and even the analysts at the ones that don't aren't grinding most Saturdays unless it's urgent live deal work that can't be done on Sunday alone. Friday nights are hit or miss but I would say most analysts are out by 10PM at the latest.
Same boat as you pal, its depressing to say the least but you just gotta remind yourself of your goals/dreams
