Scared to the bones

Hey monkeys

TLDR; I have recently received an offer to join an M&A team at a BB. I did not have any previous network I could rely on to land it. I have been grinding really hard for this position - sending emails, meeting employees, having coffees with them over the position and working really hard on my technicals to nail the interviews. I recently received an offer to join the team, but they have decided that I should join as an analyst. I am now afraid. They say is because they found that I knew how to model and knew how to do some stuff already so they wanted to skip that part. But I am afraid that I will not live up to their expectations.

Do you think this feeling is normal? Is it true that I might not be ready for an FT offer without going through an internship with them before?

Thks
