Scheduling Interview - No Response
Last week I had a first round phone interview with a middle market investment bank. The call went well and a few days later I received an email requesting my availability monday and tuesday to set up a second round phone interview. I promptly replied the day of with my availability on both days. It is now monday morning, and I still haven't heard back. Was looking for some advice on how to follow up. Should I call the work number of the analyst that sent me the message, or is that considered rude? Any advice is appreciated.
Just wait it out. They may reply later today setting up a phone call for tomorrow.
Second interview to be scheduled in a particular day in 10 days - No reply yet. (Originally Posted: 09/18/2014)
So, two weeks ago I met a couple of people in an informational interview in a city "A" 4 hours by plane from where I live (I happened to be there for business, so I arranged a quick meeting after hours). I knew that not long they started a branch in a city "B" a couple of hours driving from where I live and they are expanding. So they looked at my resume and they asked whether I would eventually move to that place, for what I say "Of course".
After only 30 min (even if it was more "informational") I was told that they would be in city "B" on September 30, and that we could meet there for a second interview with the local team (there are 3 or 4 there so far). It would be perfect for me.
I haven't heard anything yet.
What should I do?
I was thinking to send them an email, but how would you write it down not to look pushy? Maybe they have changed their mind.
Hello Person,
After our meeting a couple weeks ago you had said you were going to be in city B on the 30th and would like me to come in for an interview with you and the local team. I was wondering if you had a time in mind yet that would work for everyone at the office?
Regards,
MDES
