I know it might be little early. Any advice on how to start go about this process. I would be using my schools career services center as well. But any advice which gets me little further would be really appreciated.

1) Don't use the word Schmoozing. It's called conversation.
2) It's never too early to begin developing a network of mentors and advisors with who you can help and get help from.
3) Get yourself as close to the ground as soon as possible with regards to gaining hands on experience. WORK HARDER THAN ANYONE YOU KNOW AND THEN SOME.
4) Read as much about the industry, players and requirements of being successful as an I-Banker.
5) Don't be afraid to keep asking questions in this forum; there is a lot of repetition but many useful gems of information if you are able to get to the heart of the matters being discussed.
