Second tier European full time to internship at BB

Hi guys

I am currently working at a second tier European bank corporate finance team, and was offered a a spring (!) intern at a top BB.

Just a little more on my situation, I am London based and joined the current company last year autumn. I have been looking for other opportunities ever since the recruitment season, i.e. June, but I don't have any prior intern experience and the current company is not a well known name on the street. As a result, I have received only one interview after six month job hunting, and my personal feeling is that it is not going to be an easy thing.

Please advice whether I should take the risk - quit the current job and hope my intern would turn into a FT? Take unpaid leave for 3month is not an option.

Many thanks for your advice
