Seeking advice for law student/Big 4 accountant going for valuation -> IB
I'm a law student at a regional school/full time accountant in Big 4. I'm a liberal arts knuckle head, but with very high undergrad GPA. I have 0 finance experience, but I'm highly interested in IB.
I'm thinking about pivoting towards valuation, transaction advisory shop to gain some experience of modeling/valuation before graduating to position myself for IB. Knowing where I come from, I'd be happy if I could get at least something for boutique IB or MM IB.
What do you guys think of my chances? Would you suggest any other route to IB? Or just scrap this dream and be content being in tax?
Thanks everybody!
