Selected Transactions on Resume
Just finished an SA gig, and I'm in the middle of updating the "selected transactions" part of my resume. For these, is it better to put the big-name transactions you worked on (e.g., the $1bn IPOs/M&A deals) or the much smaller ( $100mm in some cases) transactions that you contributed significantly to?
Put all of them on. You just finished SA, how much other relevant experience is taking up the rest of your resume?
Put down whatever you've contributed most to and then, based on room you've got on your resume, start listing the rest, starting with the biggest.
Would you put the transaction that you worked in an IB internship on your resume? (Originally Posted: 02/01/2013)
I'm doing an IB internship and I've helped with a couple of transactions. Would you put those transactions on the resume?
say I have a few bullet points and then below I can say: "Transactions: ABC- $50mm IPO, XYZ- Private Placement"
If you think I should add transactions, would you do it this way or create a bullet point for each transaction and list only 1 or 2? ex: "Valued company XYZ blah blah"
Thanks
