Selection for GS Virtual Insight Series
Is it difficult? Said 5000 applicants in 2020 don't know how much they select. Any advice would be appreciated.

Also got it. To be honest, because it's a virtual insight series I think they could give it to a lot of people. I'm not entirely sure what it consists of or how helpful it would be

is it for rising sophomores or rising juniors? or just anybody in general?
I'm a rising junior
It seems like mostly rising juniors, but I know I’m not the only non diversity rising sophomore from my school.
Rising junior from non-target and saw some other kids from my school got that as well
I received an invitation to the program last year along with 5 other friends that applied, all non-targets. So, I would venture a guess that it’s not incredibly selective. It wasn’t a bad program by any means and consisted of resume critiques, speakers from different service lines, and general information on GS - all things that could be valuable in answering your why GS question. However, targeted networking with IB professionals is definitely going to be more effective than relying on the insight program.
Does anyone know how many got accepted or could we only speculate?
