For someone trying to stay in banking long-term, how should one think about what coverage area makes sense long term? I've been in Industrials for 2 years now, am thinking about exploring other groups such as Natural Resources, FIG, TMT, or HC.
What considerations should I think through with regards to longevity at the firm, and reputation in the industry? Any advice?
