(SERIOUS) The delta between IB comp and normal corporate comp is too small in 2025

Literally you're making like 30K more after tax than a normal loser in Big 4 or marketing or back office or a Fortune 500 corporate drone NPC role.

"Muh exit opps" ya sure bro lemme blow up 6 months in at a pod shop cause my PM is retarded or fight tooth and nail for a 0.5% chance of making it to VP (much less partner) at a megafund.

Oh right let's try my luck at partner track at a fast growing MM PE fund. I would love to have a chance (if the fund doesn't underperform) to get a few million in carry that vests by the time I'm 70. Truly a sick insane wow outcome.
