Should I Cold Email the Firm or an individual Banker

I'm a rising sophomore trying to land some sort of ib gig during the fall to help w recruiting for soph spring. I am emailing boutique banks that I find on axial but should I be messaging people on Linkedin or just going to the contact page on the banks website. Thanks for any help!

thought this post was gonna be embarrassing for you but that's a fair question. i'd suggest you email individual bankers and ask them if the bank needs additional help. they can direct you to the right person to talk to (the hiring team, head of talent, etc.) rather than emailing an address that goes to an inbox that's hardly checked at all.
