Sick of senior blaming
First year analyst at a BB seeking advice.
I’m the only first year analyst on my team and am working with an ED, a VP and an associate.
What has happened many times is that associate blamed me for some minor stuff that the VP did (e.g. PowerPoint object alignment) and VP blamed me for something minor the ED did. Not a big deal, even though the VP did get us altogether and said something like “you should take care of this” when I actually had no idea who did that.
They are generally friendly, but I just got sick of this. Imagine when your last book told u “dude, you spend too much time on object alignment” and now your new boss said you should align them properly when I don’t even notice the slide deck has been updated by someone senior than both of us.
Appreciate any advice to deal with this.
