Signed PE offer 2 years out but want to lateral from current shop

Am I locked in at my current shop because of this?

I’m a 1st year analyst barely 3 months working but I hate my group. Absolute sweatshop and culture of staying late every night (past 1:00am) despite not having work.

I want to lateral promptly after finishing my first year. However, given that I signed a PE offer, am I expected to remain at the same shop and/or group for my 2nd year ?

Or is it fine for me to lateral to another BB
