I'v seen many of my friends (working in BBs) wearing just under the kneels skirt suits, but I've seen some with pant suits, it is really up to your own preferences here, you do not really have to worry about this.

No one cares as long you look professional. There might be more people wearing one than the other at your specific bank/ground, but it's entirely preference.

Both are fine in my experience. Well, not my personal experience wearing them, but what I've noticed from others around the office lol.

Personal preference I think.

Also think about branding. Wearing pantsuits will lead to you being perceived as a bit more masculine wearing skirt suits will look a bit more feminine.

Personally I think (as a dude) that skirt suits look better but that really is just my personal preference. I have a more positive perception of the skirt suit,, but part of that might be because I tend to mentally associate pantsuits with Hillary Clinton and some of my schools alumni who wear pantsuits, all of whom are exceptionally abrasive personalities.

Best bet is probably going conservative day 1 and just look around to see what others are wearing to get an idea.
