People are generally respectful in a work setting.

Welcome to banking. You'll become more accustomed to brash humour once you work FT in the industry.

"SA_Student"I'm going to be a summer analyst at a BB this summer and want to know if skirt suits or pant suits are preferred (I'm a girl). Thanks!

I'v seen many of my friends (working in BBs) wearing just under the kneels skirt suits, but I've seen some with pant suits, it is really up to your own preferences here, you do not really have to worry about this.

Personal preference I think.

Also think about branding. Wearing pantsuits will lead to you being perceived as a bit more masculine wearing skirt suits will look a bit more feminine.

Personally I think (as a dude) that skirt suits look better but that really is just my personal preference. I have a more positive perception of the skirt suit,, but part of that might be because I tend to mentally associate pantsuits with Hillary Clinton and some of my schools alumni who wear pantsuits, all of whom are exceptionally abrasive personalities.
